This document describes how Best Brands Everywhere ("BBE") handles requests for customer data from law enforcement agencies, government authorities, and other third parties.

1. OUR PRINCIPLES

BBE is committed to protecting the privacy and security of our customers' data. We adhere to the following principles when responding to law enforcement and government requests:

  • Legality: We require all requests to comply with applicable law and follow proper legal process.
  • Scope: We interpret requests narrowly and provide only the data specifically required.
  • Customer Notice: Where legally permitted, we notify affected customers of requests for their data.
  • Transparency: We publish aggregate information about the requests we receive.

2. TYPES OF LEGAL PROCESS

BBE may respond to the following types of valid legal process:

  • Subpoenas: Court-issued or administrative subpoenas that are legally enforceable.
  • Court Orders: Orders issued by a court of competent jurisdiction.
  • Search Warrants: Warrants issued by a court based on a showing of probable cause.
  • National Security Orders: Orders issued under applicable national security laws.
  • International Requests: Requests from foreign law enforcement agencies through proper legal channels (e.g., Mutual Legal Assistance Treaties).

3. OUR PROCESS

3.1. Review: All law enforcement requests are reviewed by BBE's legal team to verify legal validity, proper jurisdiction, and appropriate scope.

3.2. Challenge: BBE may challenge requests that appear to be overly broad, vague, or otherwise legally deficient.

3.3. Narrow Response: When we determine that a request is legally valid, we provide only the data specifically identified in the request.

3.4. Customer Notification: Unless prohibited by law or court order, BBE will notify the affected customer before disclosing their data in response to a law enforcement request, providing the customer an opportunity to seek a protective order or other appropriate remedy.

3.5. Emergency Requests: In cases involving imminent danger of death or serious physical injury, BBE may disclose data without a court order to the extent permitted by law.

4. DATA PRESERVATION

When BBE receives a valid preservation request from a law enforcement agency, we will preserve a snapshot of the specified data for 90 days (or as otherwise required by law) pending receipt of a valid legal process to compel disclosure.

5. SUBMITTING REQUESTS

Law enforcement agencies may submit requests to:
